THE LEMON CAR LOT

Frances Bukovsky

Frances Bukovsky
makes images about chronic illness, disability, and queerness in the context of selfhood, relationships to beings and places, and medical experiences. They create self portraits, documentary photography, and analog process prints to explore the dynamic ways that their body moves through the world as a chronically ill non-binary queer person. Bukovsky is a member of the Kinship Photography Collective where they facilitate community conversations and practice groups to encourage community members to deepen their relationships to each other and the natural world through photography.
